A major player in terms of stud rams here at Superior Farms is "Real Deal" Saylor's Twin Oaks
F301. He is a "Nick Well" son. He has added a tremendous set of females to our battery of ewes
and we are excited as they are lambing for us now with great success.

"Mercedes" McCarthy 5009 was introduced to the flock as a purchase out of the National Dorset
Sale in 2005. He has been a tremendous asset in putting pattern and length in our sheep. His
extension and natural stance carries to his offspring. The growth pattern and mature size of
"Mercedes" offspring are far and few between.

The above listed rams with their linages showed are the primary stud rams used here at Superior Farms. In addition to
those we also have had much success with use on a smaller scale of several noted rams as well. These include "TII"
Bradford 1138. Large framed ram with loads of female producing potential. We have been excited about having a
number of these females stay in our flock to be producers for us. Also "Colonel" Saylor's Twin Oaks F425. He served
as a primary stud ram prior to the above mention three and now is used in clean up with retainment of several
daughters yearly for our program.
Also OK State 75, an interesting patterned sheep that Bill Crutcher was keeping to use in his program some. We
obtained him with selective breedings have come up with some super hipped and long bodied sheep that will make
great additions to our and your flocks as well.

a "Mercedes" son who has been a
true breeder for us. His mother,
Spilde 7235 is without a doubt one
of the best brood ewes on the farm
and using this son of hers has been
no mistake. He produces a solid
very functional type of offspring. His
offspring have been popular at the
sales as they possess his traits of
being super sound, growth, and look

true dorset.
The most recent and probably some of the most exciting dorset rams we have seen are two yearling rams we are
using now heavily for lambs in the fall and spring. These two rams are big hipped, wide through their pin sets and
have muscling from front to rear. On top of all that they are super about their breed type and have grown into big
large framed rams without any holes.
